In the morning of the 25th of August was arrested once again in his home Gorki Alguila (39 years old), the singer of the cuban punk-band PORNO PARA RICARDO. At the moment he' s in a bad health because of a pulmonal inflamation and problems to breeth.
The state of Cuba started a constant repression against Gorki and the rest of the group/collective since the very beginning of their proyect. Since April of this year we made a call for urgent solidarity with the contestate youth and the anarcho-punk-movement in Cuba, concentrating our attention on the permanent repression of the castrist authorities against the band PORNO PARA RICARDO, in particulate against Gorki Alguila, reclaiming to the libertarian people in the world to show their most active solidarity with the contracultural movement in Cuba, taking part in the campaign-proyect "Cuba Underground" , in defense of the physical integrity of the members of PORNO PARA RICARDO and their families, friends and comrades.
Today we affirm our inconditional support to all antiauthoritarian youth who day by day suffer the oppression and exploitation of the nationalist bourgeous dictatorship which gouvern since a half century in a absolutist way in Cuba. We start an INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN for the freedom of Gorki Alguila, calling for demonstrations in front of Cuban embassies and consulates in all over the world to demand his freedom and immediatly stopping of the actual witchhunt against members of the antiauthoritarian libertarian movement of the island. We hope that this call will have the necessary echo in the international anarchist and punk movement!
